Welcome to my website! My name is Chris and I recently graduated from TU Munich with a B.Sc. in Computer Science. For my bachelors’ thesis, I evaluated the impact of tokenization on the downstream performance of decoder-only transformers at Aleph Alpha.
Right now, I’m working on small projects, like this PyTorch implementation of BERT and learning more about foundation model pre-training.
Previously, I gained experience working in frontend, backend, and data science. I also started two (semi-successful) companies.
I enjoy playing table tennis with my friends 🏓 and recently started brewing kombucha🍹.
I live in Munich but I’d love to move somewhere else soon 🌎.
